Dr. Mike and his wife, Roxie, then followed their dream of returning to Sacramento where they had previously lived for two years while in the Air Force. Dr. Mike was the first trained pediatric specialist in the Sacramento area. Both Dr. Mike and Roxie were active in the Sacramento area establishing many dental health programs for underprivileged children, preschool children, and special needs patients. Roxie continues to work as the Practice Administrator overseeing the daily operations of the practice.
Dr. Cindy started working in the practice when she was only fourteen years old. She worked during the summer months sterilizing instruments, filing charts and filling out insurance forms. While she was still in high school, she became a registered dental assistant and started assisting her dad with treating their little patients. Throughout her college years, she returned every summer to the practice and soon had her own following of loyal patients. She is now a Board Certified pediatric specialist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Jeff started seeing Dr. Mike as a patient when he was three years old. While in high school, Dr. Jeff spent time in the practice learning all about pediatric dentistry and helping Dr. Mike with the patients. While in college, he often returned to the practice to spend time with the doctors, staff and patients. He is now a specialist in pediatric dentistry and infant oral health. Having received his pediatric specialty degree at a hospital based program, he is highly trained in hospital dentistry and treating children with special needs.
